Abu Nasim Ahmed, who made Assam's name at the national level, has retired from all levels of cricket.
Abu Nasim Ahmed, who played seven international matches for the Indian junior team, handed over his retirement letter to Assam Cricket Association President Taranga Gogoi.
The 34-year-old Abu Nasim announced his retirement on social media, made his first-class debut for Assam in 2005 against Madhya Pradesh.
Abu Naseem Ahmed played for Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for seven years.
Abu Naseem, who led Assam in the Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, has taken a total of 226 wickets in first-class and List A cricket.
He has played 64 matches and taken 167 wickets in his first-class career, while he has taken 59 wickets in 56 List A matches.
