Women's Premier League: Silver of the Women's Premier League, TATA will be the title sponsor of the tournament

After acquiring the rights of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Tata group also acquired the title rights of the first Women's Premier League (WPL).  The inaugural season of WPL is going to start from March 4 in Mumbai.  Jai Shah, secretary of the Cricket Board of India (BCCI), announced this by tweeting.
He said, 'I am very happy to announce that Tata Group will be the title sponsor of the first WPL.  With their cooperation, we are confident that we can take women's cricket to the next level.'
The financial aspects of this agreement have not been disclosed.  A BCCI source told PTI that Tata has acquired the rights for 5 years.  Tata had also acquired the rights of IPL last year.  Viacom18 has won the Media Rides of WPL.  An agreement of Rs 951 crore has been signed under media rights for five years.
