Lt KM Sudha, an assistant professor in the history department and an associate NCC officer of the National Cadet Corps at Royal Global University, under the 30 Assam Battalion NCC, became the first person from the northeast to secure a gold medal at the event held recently at the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Gwalior.
Sudha competed among 127 associate NCC officers from across the country and was adjudged the best firer of the academy. She also secured an ‘A’ grade in the final merit list. She was also formally commissioned with the rank of lieutenant.
