The country's first night safari is proposed in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's vision, the Kukrail forest area in the capital's Indiranagar area is being developed as a major eco-tourism destination.
Construction of the Kukrail Night Safari is progressing rapidly. The Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Board is focusing on expanding tourist facilities around the Night Safari and the sanctuary. Tourism facilities are being developed here at a cost of approximately ₹2 crore.
