Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inaugurated the country's first tempered glass manufacturing plant in Noida. On this occasion, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make in India campaign has taken the electronic manufacturing sector in the country to new heights. In the last 11 years, electronic production in India has increased by almost six times and electronic exports by eight times.
The Railway Minister said that one by one, now almost all electronic products and their components are being manufactured in India itself. In this sequence, tempered glass manufacturing has started today.
