US President Donald Trump has removed National Security Advisor Mike Waltz from his post in the first major reshuffle of his second term. In his place, US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio has been temporarily given the responsibility of this important post. Now Rubio will play the dual role of Foreign Minister as well as National Security Advisor.
According to BBC report, President Trump is planning to appoint Mike Waltz as the new US Ambassador to the United Nations. However, for this he will need the approval of the Senate. Sources believe that this process may face obstacles due to the 'Signalgate' scandal.
