Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary to be declared a Tiger Reserve

Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary will be declared a tiger reserve. The National Tiger Conservation Authority has given in-principle approval for this. The final proposal for declaring it a tiger reserve has been sent to the central government for approval.

In addition, the Bihar Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has signed an agreement with the Wildlife Trust of India. Under this agreement, a reptile incubation cum interpretation center will be established in Bagaha.

All this information was provided by Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Bihar government.
