The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Monday launched the X-ray Polarimeter satellite, which will study and provide information about the mysteries of celestial bodies like black holes. Let us tell you that ISRO's most reliable Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) in its C-58 mission placed the main X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (EXPOSAT) in 650 km low Earth orbit.
PSLV first took off from the space plane here at 9.10 am. After the 25-hour countdown for the launch ended, the 44.4 meter long rocket took off from the space plane, about 135 km from Chennai, and a large number of people present here clapped loudly.
