With the formal launch of the International Digital Festival, Jaisalmer was awash with the diverse colors of Rajasthan, including art, culture, and folk music. After receiving the blessings of the city's revered deity, Lord Lakshminath, a grand procession was held from the historic Gadisar Lake. The procession featured a large number of international artists, as well as Rajasthani folk artists, who gave impressive performances.
The festival's magical allure is such that even tourists from across the seven seas can't resist immersing themselves in the colors of Marwar. This year, the Desert Festival saw a remarkable turnout for foreign tourists. Lucia, a foreign visitor from Brazil, was delighted to be here. She said, "This festival is amazing, and being a part of it fills our hearts with joy." Meanwhile, her friend Fabia, after spending time with the camels and enjoying the hospitality, became a fan. Smiling, she simply said, "I love India."
