The GMC will collect the banana trees used for Diwali and give them to the forest department for elephant food

There is only one day left until Diwali, the festival of lights.  Earlier, the GMC took special decisions on Diwali.  The following are the decisions of the GMC:

*Determination of storage of banana trees brought to Guwahati for sale.

 
* The GMC will collect the banana trees from the backyards of the houses.

 *The collected banana trees will be handed over to the forest department for elephant food.

* Complaints can be filed if NGOs do not go to collect the banana trees.

* There is a call to keep every road and sub-road clean for Diwali.

* Certificates will be given to families who keep their yards clean.

 *Each shop must have two dustbins.

* Two colored dustbins, green and blue, are compulsory.

 *The license of the shop will be revoked if the directive is not followed.
