Manipur Violence: Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh claims, 'Peace will return to the state soon'

The northeastern state of Manipur has been burning in the fire of caste violence since May this year.  Meanwhile, Chief Minister N Biren Singh also laid the foundation stone of several development projects in Imphal.  On this occasion, he said that peace will soon be restored in Manipur.
 Speaking to reporters in Imphal, Manipur, CM Biren Singh said that as soon as normalcy returns to Manipur, peace will be restored in the state and people will be happy.
 Two militants of CKLA group arrested
 Recently the police had seized arms and ammunition from the banned militant group CKLA.  The police had also arrested two people.  Regarding this, the Chief Minister had praised Manipur Police on social media platform X.
 He had said in his post that Manipur Police and Central Armed Forces have seized many arms, ammunition, drugs and cash from Myanmar-based terrorist group CKLA.  The seized weapons include AK 47, INSAS, sniper and M16 rifles along with huge quantity of ammunition.  Apart from this, opium weighing about 2.5 kg, Rs 4,86,500 in cash and many other items were also seized.
