Waheeda Rehman became emotional after receiving Dadasaheb Phalke Award

69th National Film Awards: Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman has been awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Film Awards.  The President of India Draupadi Murmu honored him with her own hands.  During this, tears were visible in Waheeda's eyes.  During this, all the people present in the hall stood up and paid their respects to the actress and congratulated her with thunderous applause
 After receiving the award, Waheeda Rehman thanked President Draupadi Murmu, Union Minister Anurag Thakur and the jury members.  After this Waheeda said- 'I feel very honoured.  But whatever position I stand at today, it is because of my beloved film industry.  Luckily, I got a lot of support from very good top directors, producers, film makers, technicians, writers, dialogue writers and music directors.  Gave a lot of respect, gave a lot of love.'
