Palestine's Ambassador to India Abu Alhaija has said that India is a friendly country to both Israel and Palestine and it must intervene to resolve the current crisis in the Gaza Strip.
Amidst the ongoing war between the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas and Israel, this statement of Abu Alhaija also becomes important because India has termed the attack on Israel by Hamas as a 'terrorist attack' and has strongly condemned it.
Since Hamas fired rockets on an Israeli city on Saturday, the Israeli army has been bombing the Gaza Strip and especially Hamas positions.  In the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel, Western countries have taken Israel's side.  At the same time, many countries in the Middle East have said that the current situation between Hamas and Israel is the result of Israel's policies.
At the same time, India has taken Israel's side while criticizing Hamas.  PM Modi has said that India strongly condemns all forms of terrorism.  The people of India stand strongly with Israel in this difficult time.
"Whatever happened is a reaction to Israel's policies in the West Bank," Abu Alhaija, Palestine's ambassador to India appointed by the Palestinian government led by President Mahmoud Abbas, said in an interview to a TV channel.  The international community is responsible. The United Nations passed 800 resolutions regarding Palestine. But Israel did not accept even a single one. If Israel ends its control over the occupied Palestinian land, the attacks will also stop."
