India's first gold in Asian Games

India had a great start on the second day.  India won its first gold medal.  In the Men's 10 meter Air Rifle event, the trio of Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar, Rudranksh Patil and Divyansh Panwar won the gold, while in Rowing also the Men's Four team won the bronze medal for India.  India has won seven medals so far.

 India had won five medals on the first day.  The first medal came in shooting – when Mehuli Ghosh, Aashi Chouksey and Ramita won silver in the women's 10m air rifle team event.  Then in rowing also, India won two silver and one bronze medal.  Later Ramita Jindal won bronze for India in women's 10 meter air rifle.
