Happy Janmashtami 2023 Wishes: The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated with great joy every year across the country.  This festival has special significance in Hinduism.  It is believed that Laddu Gopal was born on Janmashtami.  According to the Vedic calendar, Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the eighth day of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada.  This year, September 6 is the auspicious coincidence of Ashtami Tithi and Rohini Nakshatra.  In such a situation, Janmashtami fast will be observed on the 6th and the birth anniversary of Bal Gopal will be celebrated with great pomp.  On the occasion of Janmashtami, Krishna temples are decorated in a grand manner.  People come from far and wide to see Laddu Gopal in these temples.  Krishna devotees also celebrate Kanha's birthday in their own homes.  They perform worship and fast.
