Gadar 2, which opened with a whopping Rs 40.10 crore on Friday, collected Rs 43.08 crore on its second day. On Sunday, the film grossed Rs 51.7 crore.
Sunny Deol's movie passed the First Monday test with flying numbers. The fourth day's gross stood at Rs 38.7 crore. Gaddar 2 proved what a smoky box office collection is with its fifth day of business. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Gadar 2 grossed Rs 55.40 crore on Tuesday (day five). With this, the film's five-day total has reached Rs 228.98 crore.
Sunny Deol's film has entered the 200 crore club. Such a fantastic collection of the film is nothing short of a big treat for the makers, starcast and fans. The tremendous response to Sunny's film after 22 years is commendable. Sunny's movie has become one of the fastest grossing films of Rs 200 crore. Compared to other blockbusters, Pathan had grossed Rs 212.5 crore in 4 days. KGF 2 (Hindi) had collected Rs 229 crore in 5 days. Bahubali 2 had grossed Rs 224 crore in six days.
