Revenge for the drone attack on the Kremlin! Russian shelling in Khersan, 21 killed, 48 injured

Russian attacks on Ukraine's southern Kherson region killed 21 people and wounded dozens on Wednesday.  The attacks were carried out in the city of Khersan and surrounding villages.  Officials escalated the attacks and reported that 12 of the dead were killed in the city and others in surrounding villages.  The attack has raised questions about whether it was a response to an alleged drone strike on the Kremlin.
 Khersan officials said, “On the morning of May 3, Russian troops launched a massive shelling of the town of Kherson and settlements in the region.” This information is important because Russian officials later Wednesday alleged that Ukraine Tuesday night  Two drones attacked the Kremlin in an attempt to assassinate President Vladimir Putin.
 The Kremlin described the alleged attack attempt as an act of terrorism and said the Russian military and security forces deactivated both drones before the attack.
